Amanda Garcia-Williams, PhD, MPH

Dr. Amanda Garcia-Williams is a social scientist and health educator with over 15 years of experience in public health. She has led dozens of mixed-methods research and evaluation projects focused on violence prevention, hygiene promotion, enteric disease prevention, and disability and health. She is passionate about applying behavioral and social science methods and theories to answering public health problems. Dr. Garcia-Williams obtained a B.S. from Tufts University, and an M.P.H and Ph.D. in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University.
